Packing for my trip to New York Fashion Week 2016 as my alter ego, Hair Stylist. I had no idea when I started doing hair, it’s like learning a new vocabulary. And so many products, it’s hard to know the good stuff from the crap! Needless to say, you have to learn by trial and error, until you find a great mentor to show you the way. Japanese combs and clips from YS Park seem to win hands down, they are not only functional, but very sculptural in form. And of course there are awesome boar bristle brushes by Mason Pearson from England and the best blow dryer out there, made in Italy by Parlux!
