I knew I was prepared, having practiced on my dollhead for hours. We were very lucky to be there assisting Jon Reyman, Aveda Artistic Director. I was so nervous meeting up with Jon, not knowing what to expect.
Our call time was 6:00am where we waited at the door of the Chelsea Pier to be allowed backstage, behind the scenes. I was completely jetlagged from San Francisco but adrenaline definitely kept me awake. doors opened as we were led backstage to setup our kits and wait for our fearless leader to arrive as well as the models. Makeup artist had the great lights, we got the electrical outlets!
