Every once in awhile I provide retouching services for my clients. It's very cathartic and meditative for me. I actually don't mind it as it feeds that creative painting side of me I studied in art school.
Here is a before and after of an image I retouched for my acting client. I didn't shoot the photo nor do I want to critique other photographers as we all stick together. I love this image.
Just wanted to point out how important the details of your makeup have to be, hair in place and lighting just right. You can see for yourself the details that if fixed in camera didn't need retouching. But that keeps me in business, so there you go!
